Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) has partnered with Global Medical Services Care, a leader in providing accessible healthcare solutions and services, as part of the Bank’s commitment to reduce the societal and economic impact of COVID-19.
As the number of coronavirus COVID-19 cases exceeds 90,000, and with the World Health Organisation having declared the virus as a public health emergency of international concern, ABK are putting in place plans to help minimize the risk of exposure to the virus for employees and customers.
The three most common indicators of COVID-19, the illness caused by the coronavirus, are elevated temperature, coughing and difficulty breathing. ABK are extending cautionary protocols to all employees including screening employees for symptoms and temperature testing to help prevent the spread of the disease.
In addition, ABK have extended their knowledge sharing to customers and the general public through the dissemination of precautionary advice shared on social media platforms and via direct communication.
To help prevent the spread of the disease through the touching of contaminated surfaces ABK has installed hand sanitizers in all branches and across all ATM’s, including offsite ATM’s.
Through continued risk assessment, ensuring good hygiene practices in the workplace and training employees on the key facts and risks ABK will continue to make every efforts to reduce the spread of the disease.
