Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK), announced its support, in partnership with the Institute of Banking Studies (IBS), in a session that fosters attendees’ digital knowledge under the title of ‘How to Improve Innovation, Creativity, and Performance in a Digital Age’.
The session, which will be attended by ABK employees of various levels and departments, will be held on 8th February 2022 by Michael Wade, Professor of Innovation and Strategy, IMD, Director of the Global Center for Digital Business Transformation.
“For many years, ABK has put technology at the forefront of its strategy, and the Bank actively pursues digital innovation in all of its operations,” said Mr. Samir Al Yakoob, General Manager, Digital Transformation at ABK. “We are excited to partner with IBS and Professor Michael Wade to host the session and continue to build on our capabilities and contributions to provide employees with appropriate platforms to excel and thrive.”
This initiative falls within ABK’s digital strategy that fosters a futuristic digital-focused outlook and adopts the concept of simpler banking. The session will emphasise the importance of new ways to support innovation and creativity using the ALIEN method; this follows Michael Wade’s 2021 flagship book ‘ALIEN Thinking: The Unconventional Path to Breakthrough Ideas’.
ABK is dedicated to driving movements towards enabling knowledge exchange. Moreover, the Bank is committed to sponsoring, organising, and hosting informative and interactive events that benefit and educate its employees.
