Expanding its presence to 31 branches across Kuwait
Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) today announced that it held its inauguration ceremony for the opening of its 31st branch in South Sabahiya, Kuwait, under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Fawaz Al Khaled Al Sabah, Governor of Ahmadi Governorate. The opening was held on 13 May, 2015 and was attended by the Governor, HE Sheikh Fawaz Al Khaled Al Sabah, a number of senior managers from the Bank, including Mr. Abdullah Al Sumait, Deputy Chief General Manager (DCGM) at ABK, Mr. Fawzy Al Thunayan, General Manager of Board Affairs at ABK, and Mr. Yaqoob Ahmed who has been assigned as the branch manager.
Commenting on this event, H.E. Sheikh Fawaz Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, the Governor of Ahmadi, said that he was very pleased to be a part of the inauguration ceremony of ABK’s South Sabahiya branch, which is the fourth for ABK in the Ahmadi Governorate. He went on to wish for further success and progress in the Kuwaiti banking sector and thanked ABK for its effective contribution to the realization of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait’s vision; to convert Kuwait into a world-class financial and commercial center.
In conclusion, H.E. Sheikh Fawaz Al-Khaled Al-Sabah wished all parties success in their endeavors to develop Kuwait and its governorates, under the patronage of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Prime Minister of Kuwait.
