Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) announced its successful participation in the 28th Engineering Design Exhibition at Kuwait University (KU), which was held at the Crown Plaza Hotel on the 19th & 20th May 2015.
ABK toured the various projects exhibited by the students from different majors; six of which were sponsored by the Bank, further demonstrating its support of the education sector and more importantly, Kuwait’s youth. Present at the event was ABK’s Corporate Communications team, and the Dean of the Engineering College, Dr. Hussein Al-Khayyat, Assistant Deans and the Heads of the Scientific Departments.
ABK continues to play an active role in supporting youth and is keen to encourage students to consider the banking sector post-graduation, as a starting point to their careers.
The Bank’s CSR strategy focuses a great deal on education and training, and the ‘ABK Academy” aims to develop the skills and knowledge of employees and newcomers. The Bank recently graduated its 16th group of students.
