ABK partners with Samsung Pay to boost its payment capabilities

Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) today announced its collaboration with Samsung to enable Samsung Pay, a leading digital payment and digital wallet solution, to further enhance and simplify its customers’ banking experience. The partnership offers a simpler, safer and faster payment method for the Bank’s customers as it accelerates the adoption of mobile payment solutions towards a cashless future.

Customers can easily access the service by simply registering their debit, credit or prepaid card through scanning or manually entering the card’s details onto the Samsung Pay application. Once added, users can swipe to launch the Samsung Pay app, authenticate their details via fingerprint or PIN, and tap the phone to pay. Customers of the bank will be able to connect their ABK debit and credit cards to Samsung Pay for efficient use in-store, online and via apps. The service is available across almost all stores in Kuwait and abroad, making on-the-go payments more convenient and safe.
