Emirates Airline, a global connecter of people and places, is engaging with patrons and visitors of The Avenues, by showcasing its world-renowned A380 Onboard Lounge at Kuwait’s largest mall. The innovative experience will allow Kuwaitis and residents alike to socialize and mingle on the ground, an experience which usually takes place at 40,000 feet.
Emirates Airline and Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait will also be running a social media competition at the Emirates OnBoard Lounge for a chance to win two Business Class flight tickets to Dubai as well as two ABK Emirates Visa Gold Prepaid cards worth KD200 each. Visitors must take a selfie at the Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge at the Avenues Mall between 24 January and 30 January; upload the selfie to their Facebook, Instagram or Twitter accounts using #EmiratesA380Kuwait for a chance to enter a draw to win the tickets. ABK will also be giving away seven free ABK Emirates Visa Gold Prepaid Travel cards worth KD200 each.

Emirates’ Onboard Lounge, situated at the rear of the Business Class cabin on the upper deck of the A380, provides a refreshing environment for people to meet and enjoy their favourite beverages and delicious canapés. There are two sofas, a 42 inch LCD screen showing the aircraft’s position and views from its external cameras and mood lighting to create a calming ambience. Along with the OnBoard Lounge, all of Emirates’ A380s are equipped with Wifi, and more than 2,100 channels of inflight entertainment on the award winning ice system, as well as Onboard Shower Spas - supported by 25 multi-national cabin crew.
Emirates has been flying to Kuwait since 1989 and serves Kuwait City with 7 daily services, including its iconic flagship A380. The A380 service between Kuwait and Dubai is the world’s shortest A380 flight, at just one hour and 45 minutes.
The Emirates A380 flying to Kuwait offers 14 First Class Private Suites, 76 mini-pods in Business Class and 399 seats in Economy Class.
There are currently 36 A380 destinations on the Emirates network, setting the industry benchmark for both A380 connectivity and customer experience.
