As part of its continued commitment to give back to the community, a team of volunteers from Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) partnered with LOYAC in the “Back to School” program to provide school necessities to under-privileged students.
The outreach program aims to serve around 70 students between the ages of 6 and 14, providing them with supplies such as backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils and other essentials.
Mr. Fawzy Althunayan, General Manager of Board Affairs at ABK, said: “We are pleased to support this “Back to School” initiative with LOYAC as part of our commitment towards the community and belief in the importance of education. Learning is a collective responsibility and requires efforts from the teachers, students, parents and the community. We all have a role to play in the development and empowerment of our next generation as they are our future assets, and at ABK we are proud to have a hand in this and in the betterment of our youth’s education. We are always guided by our aspiration to be an active community partner and a contributor towards a sustainable future.”
