The only financial institution in the Middle East to be accredited
Building on its series of successes, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) proudly announced that it is the first Bank in the Middle East to receive the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) certificate, for its commitment to high quality and process improvement in the provision of learning, development and training services to its employees.
ABK was granted the accreditation after undergoing a rigorous and thorough assessment of the Bank’s training and development programs and facilities, the standards to which these programs are implemented and its approach to its Training Needs Analysis (TNA). These factors were testament to the Bank’s unwavering efforts to understand the areas that are in need of development, while adding to the value and benefit of the training and learning opportunities offered to its employees.
Commenting on this achievement, Hamza Enki, General Manager Human Resources at ABK said: “This is a great milestone in the history of ABK, as it not only indicates the high level of training and development targeted to our employees, but also shows the degree of growth and development we, as an institute, can achieve on the long term. By continuously investing in our people and offering learning opportunities that are impactful and necessary to their development, we are creating a culture that will allow all employees to fulfill their potential”.
“I am very grateful to every ABK team member that has worked with such dedication to ensure that the Bank offers a differentiated opportunity to its people, and I am proud to be a part of this team.”
The LPI certification is a globally-recognized quality mark for providers of learning products, technologies, services and facilities. The LPI accreditation continuously raises both learning standards and performance outcomes of the certified organization.
