ABK with Infosys Finacle wins the ‘Best Core Banking Initiative Application or Programme for Emerging Bank in Middle East’

Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK), with its banking technology partner Infosys Finacle, part of EdgeVerve Systems, the product subsidiary of Infosys, has won the prestigious ‘Best Core Banking Initiative Application or Programme for Emerging Bank in Middle East’ for 2018 at the Asian Banker Financial Technology Innovation Awards. The award was presented at a special ceremony held in Dubai, during the Future of Finance - Middle East and Africa 2018 conference.

The annual awards ceremony celebrates the region’s best banking products and services and is widely respected by the banking industry. The award underlines ABK’s positive approach towards business innovation and is a validation of the Bank’s commitment towards digitization and setting new benchmarks for customer service.

The award was received by senior ABK executives led by Salem Husain CTO and Sridhar Kasisomayajula CIO of ABK, together with Sriranga Sampathkumar, Head of Business – Middle East and Africa, of Infosys Finacle.
