: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) Sponsored the First International Scientific Forum, an event designed to support the development and enrichment of Arab sports. The two day event was held at the Palms Hotel between April 3-5 and featured conferences, training courses, and an exhibition, allowing participants to exchange knowledge, experiences and ideas that enable sustainable development in Arab sports.
The first-of-its-kind forum was held to align with the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, a UN General Assembly initiative that is marked globally on April 6 and was attended by the Minister of Information and State for Youth Affairs, Mr. Mohammed Al Jabri, as well as a number of ambassadors.
The adoption of this day signifies the increasing recognition by the UN of the positive influence that sport plays on the advancement social and economic development.
