Terms & Conditions

Definitions:

• The “Bank”: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait K.S.C.P. (ABK).
• The “Client”: The person for whom the card is issued and whose name is printed on the card.
• The “Card”: ABK Visa Infinite Privilege credit card, is issued by the bank upon request of the client.
• “The Program”: ABK Advantage Rewards.
• “Transaction”: Buying goods or receiving services by using eligible cards.
• “Tokens”: ABK Advantage Rewards program Points that the client ,earns against every KD 1 spent and can be redeemed for any services offered under these points by the program manager.
• “Program Manager”: 3rd party who manages the program and responsible only for the services offered to the client and for any amendments applied on the same.
• ABK Customer is eligible to earn Tokens on multiple products such as Salary, Saving, Current accounts and Fixed Deposits.
• ABK customer is eligible to redeem Tokens once acquiring an ABK Visa
  Infinite Privilege credit card.
• ABK Visa Infinite Privilege credit card can earn ABK Advantage Rewards Tokens by spending on all purchases done locally (in Kuwait) or overseas (Globally/Non KWD) via internet or Point of Sale.
• ABK Advantage Rewards program enrollment is automatic and free once you activate your ABK Visa Infinite Privilege credit card.
• ABK Advantage Rewards program tokens calculation is based on the types of transactions as following:

• Cash withdrawals using ABK Visa Infinite Privilege credit card in & out of Kuwait are excluded from point’s calculation.
• ABK Advantage Rewards program Tokens collected on a transaction will automatically expire after 3 years on a monthly basis.
• To earn ABK Advantage Rewards program Tokens, transactions must be KD 1/- or over.
• No minimum requirement to redeem ABK Advantage Rewards program Tokens for online bookings. For cash back redemptions minimum tokens required to redeem are 7,000 tokens.
• Earned Tokens will be credited within 72 hours from the transaction date in your ABK Advantage Rewards account.
• Cashback amount will be credited within 72 hours from the redemption date.
• ABK customer cannot transfer his tokens to another account.
• Companies that have Point of Sale (POS) devices are not entitled to use their cards on purchases of these companies to earn Tokens.
• In case of transaction reversals or refund, the awarded Tokens will be reversed as well.
• Customers with card status «on hold» will not be able to redeem Tokens on any of the channels available to customers (call center, online and cards center, mobile app).
• ABK has the right to stop the Advantage Rewards program for any customer at any time without giving reasons.
• ABK reserves the right to cancel and/or forfeit all Tokens earned by a customer across one or more of his/her cards in case customer breaches any of the Terms and Conditions of Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait Advantage Rewards program as well as the Terms and Conditions of ABK cards applicable.
• These Terms and Conditions are applicable in addition to the Terms and Conditions of ABK cards.
• ABK reserves the right to amend ABK Advantage Rewards Terms & Conditions from time to time without notice.
