Credit Card Limit Increase

Need more spending power? Our credit card limit increase service allows eligible customers to quickly and securely raise their credit card limit through the ABK mobile app, without the need to visit a branch.

Eligibility

Only customers who meet the following eligibility criteria will see the credit card increase limit option in the app:

Good credit history as per Ci-Net
Meets Central Bank of Kuwait’s Debt Service to Income Ratio (DSIR) requirement
(total monthly loan repayments, including the credit card, must not exceed 40% of net monthly salary for employees)
The Visa Platinum Cashback credit card is not eligible for the credit card limit increase service
Subject to ABK's credit cards T&C and approval

How It Works?

Log in to your ABK mobile app
Select 'Cards' on the homepage
Select the credit card you would like to increase the limit for
Select 'Credit Card Limit Increase'
Enter your new desired limit
Toggle the option to approve ABK to view your Ci-Net report
Select your preferred method to receive the OTP
Enter the OTP to confirm

Important Notes

Once a limit increase is completed, you will not be able to request another increase for 48 hours
By applying, you authorize the bank to share and verify your credit information with Ci-Net and other relevant institutions in accordance with local regulations
