In line with its ‘Simpler Banking’ strategy, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK), announced the launch of its new digital service – ‘Self Pin Generation through ABK Branch ATM’s’. The distinctive feature enables customers to generate new PIN numbers for their recently issued cards within seconds of inserting the cards into an ABK ATM.
ABK’s card Self PIN Generation service is a three-step process. On insertion, the machine recognizes the card as new and instantly sends a one-time authentication code to the customer’s registered contact number. Customers then enter the authentication code into the ATM and complete the PIN selection process, registering it across the Bank’s records and making it effective for use across all banking transactions immediately.
ABK is constantly upgrading its digital services including cardless withdrawal transactions, a service that allows clients to withdraw cash without the need of their debit cards, ITM’s in key locations to avoid having to visit a branch and a number of other digital products & services, which can be seen on the Bank’s website, eahli.com. Customers are also encouraged to update their civil ID information through the Bank’s ATMs.
