In a move to improve communication with its customers with hearing disabilities, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) held a training courses in sign language for its branch staff. The course focused on providing specialised training to staff responsible for assisting the Bank’s special needs customers with their banking needs.
With 20 staff successfully completing the training, these ABK staff will be spread across the bank’s seven special needs branches including Head Office, and the branches located in Jabriya, South Sabahiya, Shaab, Firdous, Qurain and Jahra 1. The staff can be identified through special badges, which will read ‘We Know Sign Language’.
