Sanadak

The Central Bank of the UAE has established Sanadak, an independent Ombudsman Unit. Sanadak is designed to assist consumers in resolving any complaints with Licensed Financial Institutions that could not be settled through internal complaint resolution

Complaint Handling Process at ABK
We have established service standards for handling complaints from our customers. Each complaint is carefully processed to ensure a timely and appropriate resolution.

The Bank shall provide a written acknowledgement of the complaint filed with Bank, with details of the complaint process, within 2 complete business days of receiving the complaint.  A unique service request number will be assigned to you.

The Bank shall send in writing its final response to you with detailed reasons within 15 complete business days of receiving a complaint.

Once the complaint is resolved, you will receive an official reply through a recorded call, as well as an SMS or email confirming the closure of the Complaint Service Request Number.

When to escalate to the Central Bank of the UAE?
If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with the complaint resolution, you have the right to refer the complaint to the SANADAK, an independent Ombudsman Unit established  by The Central Bank of the UAE
